All very interesting information, however I am very surprised not to have seen any tips for Scholomance yet.
Firstly, in the Hall of Summoning, using MC on the Dark Summoners is the most effective way of stopping them from summoning all those Risen Lackeys, and they have 2 spells that can help finish of the rest of the group too. You can cast Curse of Blood on one, but the long cooldown will mean that you die before you can cast it on the other, unless you use drain life to keep the Summoner alive just that little bit longer.
MC can also be used to great effect when dealing with the Diseased Dragonlings, as the Handlers in the room have 2 very useful AOE spells, Cone of Cold, and a Shockwave (can't remeber it proper name). Take control, and walk backwards towards yourself, and use CoC, then alternate the 2, as both have quite short cooldowns, but be carefull not to use the knock back ability.
There is one NPC in Scholomance that I do not recommend controlling however, as it has a Shadowbolt Volley Spell which can quite easily agro the entire room if used accidentally, the sort of mistake you only make once.
Might be nice to add to the OP that you can buff players of the other faction with MC.
If you want to farm without getting ganked and you see a mage/ rogue / other annoying player of the other faction near your farming spot : shield up , wave to them and cast MC .. when he's MCed target the player .. he should be friendly now and you can cast instant cast spells on him. This will break the MC ofc but your buff does land on the player.
I really like this since i play on a pvp server and sometimes just want to hang around/ grind without haveing to fight allies. Hardest part is getting close enough without getting killed/ attacked, and some players don't notice the buff and start attacking you when MC breaks ... those are usually the sucky players so you should be oke ^^ The people that can wtfpwn you in 10 secs are usually good enough players to notice the nice buff they'v just gotten.
